All able-bodied soldiers of Pike, Shotte and Horse and their adherent followers of the Camp are called to attend to their duty by presenting themselves most punctually for this...

The North Country Muster is a multi-unit event spanning three days wherein participants immerse themselves in the life and times of a late-16th Century English military encampment. Like its sister-event, Actions of the Lowe Countries, that is held each spring near Sacramento, California, The Muster brings together historical scholars and enthusiasts anxious to step into the shoes of those earlier times, to mind their rank and file, and march on to the drum and Sergeant's call. The event will embrace all ranges of experience including beginners new to military history through the seasoned veteran. Activities will include a variety of classes as well as military training within the ranks.
The North Country Muster will take place Friday October 3rd thru Sunday October 5th, 2008.
The North Country Muster will take place October 3rd thru 5th in Belfair, Washington, some 30 miles from Seattle. For directions to the event, click here.
The price of the event is $50 for adults (pre-paid via Paypal/$60 paid on site) and $25 for children between 13 and 17. Children under 13 are free but must be accompanied by a member of the camp and should adhere to the guidelines of other participants regarding historical clothing. This fee covers event registration and camping fees. Meals will be available for purchase from the sutlers.
Because so tawdry a thing as money should never prevent a gentleman soldier from answering the call, Work-study Scholarships are available. We also offer two New Recruit Scholarship to participants who have never done Renaissance reenactment. For more information, e-mail nathan@ravenrook.com.

Once again, this is a full-immersion weekend. All participants are expected to dress, camp and conduct themselves in a manner apropriate to the 16th century English soldier, their camp followers or retainers. Any visitors, even stopping in for a brief visit, should be prepared to dress and are not encouraged as they distract for the spirit of the event. For more information about expectations and requirements, please contact Gordon Frye or Nathan Barnett.
